Activities would be themed according to the eight traditional nature festivals: in May a May Queen would be chosen; medicinal plants could be sold at the summer solstice; a parade of people in costume could be organised on 1 November (this celebration could be called “Festival of the Opening to the Other World” rather than Halloween), and a Christmas market could be held.
