The Dance Lime Tree of Macon, Belgium

Thiz three-story Dance Lime Tree (Tilia platyphyllos) was planted in 1714 to replace a 15th-century lime tree that grew near the site of the 15th-century community centre.

In 1942 the Walloon government gave the tree Outstanding Heritage status.

The wooden structure was restored by Marius Pourcet, a carpenter in Villers-La Tour.
